Pameran solo oleh Chan Thean Chie yang bertemakan ‘Chaos and Order’ telah diadakan mulai 6 sehingga 21 Ogos 2022 bertempat di Galeri Aras 3, Balai Seni Lukis Negeri Pulau Pinang. Majlis perasmian pameran ini telah dihadiri oleh Yang Berhormat Tuan Yeoh Soon Hin, EXCO Pelancongan dan Ekonomi Kreatif (PETACE), merangkap Pengerusi Lembaga Muzium Pulau Pinang (LMNPP), Yang Berhormat Puan Chong Eng, EXCO Pembangunan Sosial dan Hal Ehwal Bukan Islam Negeri Pulau Pinang, Yang Berhormat Puan Heng Lee Lee, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Berapit dan lain-lain tetamu kehormat. Ucapan aluan telah disampaikan oleh Dr Sarena Abdullah yang mewakili Jawatankuasa Balai Seni Lukis Negeri Pulau Pinang (BSLNPP). Pameran ini mempamerkan sebanyak 40 keping lukisan di atas kertas yang bertemakan geografi psikik kemanusiaan.

Solo Exhibition by Chan Thean Chie: ‘Chaos and Order’

The solo exhibition themed ‘Chaos and Order’ by Chan Thean Chie was held from 6th to 21st August 2022 at the 3rd Floor Gallery, Penang State Art Gallery.

The opening ceremony was graced by:

  • YB Tuan Yeoh Soon Hin, EXCO for Tourism and Creative Economy (PETACE), cum Chairman of the Penang State Museum Board (PSM)

  • YB Puan Chong Eng, EXCO for Social Development and Non-Islamic Affairs of Penang

  • YB Puan Heng Lee Lee, Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly for Berapit, and other distinguished guests.

The welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Sarena Abdullah, representing the Penang State Art Gallery Committee (PSAG).

The exhibition showcased 40 works of art on paper, reflecting the theme of the psychic geography of humanity.
