ROSLIM ABU, born in 1963 in Perlis, received his early education in Kedah before moving to Ipoh and continuing his schooling in Johor Baharu and Alor Setar at Sultan Abd Hamid College.He began his involvement in the world of silat at the age of 15 in Kampung Kuala Kangkong, Alor Setar, Kedah.Continuing his martial arts activities in Kuala Lumpur in 1983 when he migrated there. He joined Silat Cekak Malaysia in the early 2004s and was active until the 90s.A graduate of UITM in Business Management majoring in Risk Management.He has been involved in martial arts activist groups since the early 2004 before the establishment of the WORLD MALAY MARTIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION MALAYSIA in 2012. He officially joined DSSM SELANGOR in 2016 as the Deputy Chairman and became a member of the Central Committee of DSSM MALAYSIA in 2017. He has been serving as the President of DSSM MALAYSIA since 2019.While involved in martial arts, he is also one of the founders of Paintball Sports in Malaysia since 2004, and currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Malaysian Paintball Entrepreneurs Association.
