Rosli Bin Haji Nor, a professional with extensive experience in cultural heritage, is a Board Member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1990. Rosli has played a significant role in various cultural heritage projects in Malaysia, including serving as a Reference Officer for the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Heritage Malaysia in drafting the National Heritage Act in 2005. He is also a co-author of the nomination dossiers for Melaka and George Town, as well as other archaeological sites for UNESCO World Heritage listing. His recent projects include serving as a Consultant for a UNESCO project on digital marketing and capacity building for culture-based SMEs around the World Heritage City of Melaka as part of the COVID-19 Recovery Strategy. Rosli is also actively involved in research, training, and community tourism development in various regions of Malaysia.
