INTRODUCTION
The Beach Sports Event scheduled on 14 May 2024, will unfold at Batu Ferringhi Beach which is renowned as one of Malaysia’s and Penang’s premier destinations. A diverse array of beach sports competitions awaits participants and spectators alike, featuring beloved classics such as Beach Soccer, Netball, Tug of War, and the artistic challenge of Sand Castle construction, showcasing participants’ ingenuity. Adding to the excitement, professional fire entertainers will dazzle the crowd with a fiery spectacle, complemented by a captivating demonstration of Capoeira, the Brazilian martial art, promising to elevate the energy of the International Museum Day (IMD) 2024 Sports Event festivities.
